The Wedgwood Group
"The Wedgwood Group, Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Ltd, now owns Susie Cooper and R.H. and S.L. Plant. Ltd., formally Tuscan China Holdings Ltd., and Wm. Adams and Sons (Potters) Ltd. This large group employs approximately 2,890 of which 2,000 are employed at the Barlaston Works of Josiah Wedgwood."

Acquired in July 1967 by the Wedgwood Group. From 1985 Coalport was located at the Minerva Works in Fenton. In 2000 the Coalport brand was relocated to purpose build facility at Barlaston and the Minerva Works was demolished.

In 1965 the Green family's connection with the company ceased and the company became part of the Wedgwood Group in 1973. Christmas plates were manufactured from 1972-1981 (1972-76 exclusively for export). From 1985 the name Crown Staffordshire was not used, the name Coalport Ltd. (also part of the Wedgwood Group) being used instead.
