         This manufactory, usually known as "Union Bank", through its having been for some time worked by the Potters' Trades' Union, belonged at one time to a family named Marsh ; and was also carried on by Messrs. Whittingham, Ford, & Co., from whom it passed into the hands of the present proprietors, Messrs. Buckley, Wood, & Co.
