Earthenware and porcelain manufacturer at the Cromartie Works and then Stanley Pottery, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England

  • The company appear to have been started as decorators of china and earthenware and occupied various premises in Longton, later manufacturing earthenware in their own right at the Stanley Pottery.

  • Control of the business was acquired by Thomas Wild & Sons (pre-1923) and the company continued to trade under its own name until it was sold in 1928.

  • The new owners, Mr & Mrs Veron of Burslem, changed the name to Stanley Pottery Ltd, but the company didn't survive the effects of the Great Depression and it closed in 1931.

NOTE: There was an unrelated company called Stanley Pottery Co
