Thomas Dimmock (Snr) appears to have operated potworks in Albion Street, Shelton from c.1822 - he appears to have rented the works from a Edmund John Birch.

Thomas Dimmock (Snr) died aged 76 in 1827 and his son Thomas Dimmock (Jnr) took over the works.
