Fenton Pottery Co

Location and period of operation:

The Fenton Pottery Co

Fenton

?

1931

China supplier at the Royal China Works (sometimes called the Royal Fenton Works),  Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, England

  • The proprietor was Horace John Bradbury who was in business as "The Fenton Pottery Co." and "H.J. Bradbury & Co"

  • H J Bradbury lived at "Woodcroft" The Avenue, Basford and his business was at Fenton Works, Carters Crossing, Fenton - both in the City of Stoke-on-Trent.

  • There appears to be no record of a manufacturer by the name "Fenton Pottery Co."
They were recorded as "Pottery Factor" and so were almost certainly not manufacturers themselves but had ware made by others under their name.

  • The business was bankrupt in 1931.
