  • The partners were William Green and Alfred John Clay. Previously they had been in partnership with a Charles Richard Clark as Green, Clark & Clay - Clarke left the partnership in Feb 1883 and they business continued as Green & Clay. 

  • Around 1891 William Green left and Alfred J Clay continued.

Subsequently: A J Clay & Co
