  • The business was started by William Morley in 1879. From 1906 the company traded as Morley & Fox - the senior partner was William Morley and junior partner William Garrett Fox. 

  • In 1944 the company name reverted to William Morley & Co

  • The Managing Director was Major J.W. Gordon Morley, the Chairman F.H. Barlow and the Company Secretary was Miss J. Hodgkinson. 

  • On the 5th June 1957 a resolution was passed that the company be voluntarily would up and liquidators were appointed.
