  • In 1892 Rowley & Jervis are listed as earthenware manufacturers at the Park Place Works, High Street, Longton. (Kelly & Co Directory).

  • From 1896 to 1901 Rowley & Newton are recorded as earthenware manufacturers at the Park Place Works and also, in 1900, as china manufacturers at the Gordon Pottery, Anchor Road, Longton. (Kelly & Co Directory, Godden's 'Encyclopaedia of British Pottery and Porcelain Marks'.

  • Gooden also records that subsequent to 1901 the business was Rowley & Son. This business does not appear in the a comprehensive directory of 1907 and so is assumed to have ceased manufacture before then.
