Meir Heath Windmill Group was formed in 2004.

The objectives of the group are to stop the Mill from further deterioration and if possible to persuade the brewery owners Mitchell's and Butlers to start repairs. The group would love to see the sails back on as would many other local people.

The children of Meir Heath Primary School who have a logo of the Windmill on their T shirts are very interested in the project. They have sent many letters of support to Chairperson Mrs Gill Swift.
