COPELAND Standard impressed mark found on earthenware, porcelain and especially the parian figures and groups popularized by this firm. c.1847+

a fancy version of the rare earlier mark above.

impressed word "COPELAND" in curved form without a crown above.

From c.1867 onwards "& SONS" was added to the mark. Prior to this date just the name "COPELAND" was used.

From 1890 onwards the name of SPODE was introduced to the marks. With and without the name COPELAND.
