Description & date

Printed mark "A. Shaw" with the pattern name "POMONA"

Probably manufactured at the Newport works as the later ware is marked with "Burslem"

Printed mark "Anthony Shaw" with the Royal Arms.

Shaw often made use of the Arms in his marks.

c.1860-c.1882 

on the Royal Arms

A different style printed mark with a variation of the Royal Arms 

c.1860-c.1882 

 

Impressed mark on Ironstone Ware - this mark often appears with the printed Royal Arms marks shown above.

The inscription reads: "Anthony Shaw Opaque Porcelain" 

c.1860-c.1882 

Printed mark "& Son"

c.1882 - c.1898

This mark probably dates c.1891 - 1898 because of the inclusion of "ENGLAND"

on the use of "ENGLAND" 

Printed mark "& Co"

c.1898 - c.1900
