A number of events have been planed for Bethesda this year.
  • On 2nd May we open at 12.00 noon until 2.30 pm as part of Stoke on Trent City Centre Partnership's Cultural Quarter Open Day. Many historic buildings in the Cultural Quarter will be open to the public including the Town Hall, The Regent Theatre backstage, Radio Stoke and the vaults below the Potteries Museum. Well worth a visit to Hanley (Stoke on Trent City Centre) on that day.

  • Our June open day will be in association with the Douglas Macmillan Hospice to help with their fundraising.

  • With the help of a £500 gift from a local pottery company, Steelite International, we are planning to install a donated Victorian slate fireplace in our Vestry room to replace the one stolen during the 1990's.

  • Historic Chapels Trust are planning to obtain a price for installing toilets in the outside vestry buildings and we have already had an offer of help from a local pottery company.

  • Our WW1 exhibition has received very good reviews and we are planning a very important change to it. We plan to make a model war graves cemetery (circa 3ft X 2ft) and over the next five years (the last Bethesda Our Boy died 1919) we will add a Remembrance Cross to the cemetery on the 100th anniversary of a fallen Bethesda Our Boy. Nine crosses will be added this year.
