| 1867 | Thomas Emberton's father William dies and Thomas Isaac and his brother James carry on the business at Highgate Pottery, Brownhills, Tunstall. |
| 1871 | By this date Thomas Isaac and his wife Jane (born about 1837 in Smallthorne) were living at 41 Princess Street, Tunstall; which was close to the pottery factory. |
| 1878/9 | Thomas Isaac was chairman of Tunstall Board of Health. |
