Red Lion Square

Red Lion Square at the junction of High Street, Ironmarket, Church Street and Bridge Street.

This postcard c.1920 shows Red Square looking from the junction with the High Street. In the background can be seen the tower of St. Giles church. 

To the right is C J Wain the chemists and Godwin the Printers whose premises also doubled at the Sentinel newspaper branch office.

On the left is the taxi rank.
