Ironmarket runs from Nelson Place to the High Street

This postcard (c.1914) looks towards the High Street. Ironmarket is an old street in Newcastle it appears on a 1785 map.

note the tram in the centre of the picture. To the right is Red and Shaw, Ladies Outfitters and next to them is Henry Whites store.
