"East Precinct" section of 'Hanley Shopping Centre' 

Looking back along Old Hall Street - at the far end can be seen Blackburn House and on the far right the top of 'Unity House'  The street on the left is Gillman Street.
The area where the shops are, between Charles and Gillman streets was, on the 1898 map, a pottery works with 5 bottle kilns.
