Lordship lane (off Leek Road) was on the 1898 OS map an extension of Mill Street.

Today (2000) Lordship Lane is a footpath from Leek Road to Victoria Road. The path runs past the Sixth Form Collage and Fenton Manor Swimming Baths.

 
Fenton Manor Quarry
Hidden from view and accessed from Lordship Lane is this huge quarry which is bordered by Leek Road and City Road.
