Location and period of operation:

• Earthenware manufacturer at the Trent Pottery, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent

• A John Venables was recorded in the 1860 Kelly directory as having a business at the Trent Pottery,  Burslem - this is likely the same John Vanables who was in partnership with a number of individuals, on a short lived basis at the nearby Hole House Works in Nile Street.
