  • The company was registered in January 1914 to take over "the business of general earthenware manufacturers carried out by E. Dimmelow, E. Dimmelow jun and S. Dimmelow, at Brownhills, Fenton".

  • The registered office was listed as Carters Crossing, Barnfields, Fenton.

  • The business of the Argyle Pottery Co was "manufacturers of and dealers in sanitary ad general earthenware, pottery, china, porcelain, tiles, glass, glazed bricks, pipes, traps cisterns taps, &c"

  • A 1917 directory listed the Argyle Pottery Co as a manufacturer at Barnfield, Fenton. 

  • The company was dissolved in December 1931. (The London Gazette)
