Earthenware manufacturer at Wharf Street, Stoke, Stoke-on-Trent, England
  • The partners were John Walley Brough and William Hiram Jones.

  • William H Jones had from at least 1874 worked at a factory in Hanley "now [1923] in the occupation of Weatherby's High Street, Hanley, owned by a Mr. Samuel Lear, and it was at these works Mr. Jones senior, learned his potting" 

  • William H Jones was the father of the well known potter A. G. Harley Jones

  • The partnership between Brough & Jones ended when Jones retired and the partnership was dissolved on the 27th April 1898 - J W Brough continued on his own account.  

  • When W. H. Jones died he left and estate to the value of £6,177 (Pottery Gazette, September 1906).
