  • Previously Taylor & Kent.

  • Around 1961 Taylor and Kent started to use the trade name 'Elizabethan China'

  • In 1982 the business was renamed Elizabethan Fine Bone China Ltd. and continued at the Florence Works.

  • In September 1987 Elizabethan Fine Bone China merged with Rosina China Co. Ltd. and from June 1988 they operated under the temporary name of 'Crownford Holdings Ltd' Both of these businesses were already owned by the brothers Oswald & Derek Shufflebottom. 

  • In January 1989 the merged companies became Crownford China Co. Ltd.
