Lane End
Great Charles St.

1818

1830

Earthenware and China manufacturer at Lane End, Stoke-on-Trent, England.
  • In the directories the works are given variously as Flint Street and Great Charles Street, Lane End.  Flint Street was actually a continuation of Great Charles Street, which by the 1830s had been renamed Stafford Street. In the early 1950s there was large scale renaming of streets in Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford Street was renamed The Strand.
