  • Previously Lowe, Ratcliffe & Co - that partnership was dissolved 24th December 1889.

  • The partners in Ratcliffe & Co were Thomas Ratcliffe & John Siddall. At some time Alfred Bailey Jones joined the partnership - he left in March 1901, Radcliffe and Siddall continued.  

  • In April 1908 John Siddall left the business and Thomas Parker Ratcliffe continued - retaining the name Ratcliffe & Co. 

  • Manufacturing at the Gold Street works until 1896 when the business moved to the Clarence Works.
