• The Staffordshire Pottery Company were not based in Staffordshire - their business was in
  Poplar, Middlesex, East London.

• The partners were Samuel Mayer and William Barnard.

• They used the name 'Staffordshire Pottery Company ' because of the sucess of the Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire potteries. 

• The business was dissolved in April 1853
