Commissioner of King's Taxes, 1925;
Trustee of Newcastle Burgeses Lands; Chairman, 1915, retired, 1931.Rendered Valued Service to Recruiting Office during the Great War under Lord Derby's Scheme.
Director of Building Society for thirty-five years;
Trustee of Wesleyan Methodist Church for thirty years;
A Founder of the "Hearts of Oak" Friendly Society Medical Agency. etc.Recreations-Bowls; Winner of Silver Cup and The Mayor's Prize Bowls, etc.
