Baddeley Edge is a district in the northern part of Stoke-on-Trent, situated between Stockton Brook and Milton and occupying higher ground along the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Historically a rural and scattered settlement, it developed gradually with a mix of smallholdings, local industry, and residential expansion influenced by the growth of nearby mining and pottery centres. Its elevated position gives it a more open, semi-rural character compared with many surrounding districts, and remnants of its older landscape can still be traced alongside later housing development.
Today, Baddeley Edge is primarily residential, while still retaining a sense of separation from the denser urban areas of the city.
