Berry Hill is a residential district in the south-eastern part of Stoke-on-Trent, situated between Fenton, Bucknall, and the neighbouring large housing area of Bentilee.
The area developed from a mix of farmland and scattered rural settlement into a suburban neighbourhood during the late 19th and 20th centuries, as Stoke-on-Trent expanded eastwards and residential housing spread into the surrounding countryside.
Its elevated position and proximity to both established urban districts and newer post-war developments such as Bentilee give it a varied residential character.
Today, Berry Hill is primarily residential, forming part of the wider suburban landscape of the eastern Potteries.
