Hope Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent

Hope Street joins Lichfield and Stafford Street with Waterloo Road and was therefore part of the thoroughfare from Longton and Fenton, through Hanley to Burslem and Tunstall - the opening of the Potteries Way ring road and pedestrianisation of parts of Hanley means that Hope Street has lost it's importance and that is reflected in its run-down nature.
