Park Hall, in the eastern part of Stoke-on-Trent near Weston Coyney and Bentilee, developed from a rural estate and farmland into a mainly residential district during the 20th century.
The area takes its name from the historic Park Hall estate, with later housing development gradually extending across former agricultural land as Stoke-on-Trent expanded eastwards.
This page lists the present and historic streets of Park Hall and links to descriptions of the origins of street names, old maps, local developments, and the changing character of the district over time. From estate roads and rural lanes to modern residential streets and housing developments, the streets of Park Hall reflect the suburban growth of the eastern Potteries.
Today, Park Hall is largely residential in character, with its street layout still preserving connections to the area’s earlier estate landscape and rural origins.
