Etruria: Etruria and Josiah Wedgwood (1760 onwards)

Shelton steel works now dominates the Etruria Hall and Wedgwood factory surroundings.

The view from Etruria Hall which was screened by trees is now directly onto the steelworks.

The canal line has been diverted from the original (blue outline) course to allow expansion of the steel works. The top end of Wedgwood's is shown in green.
