On the corner of Pall Mall and Marsh Street, opposite  the old Theatre Royal was "Mr. Dan Lewis, Confectioner, Pastry Cook and Restaurateur", Pall Mall, Hanley.

There was a restaurant and billiard room at the premises in Pall Mall. There were two other similar establishments, run by Dan Lewis, one at 99 Stafford Street and one at 30 Tontine Street.
