..... as part of celebrations marking the city's status as the world capital of ceramics. The city council has erected 92 the eye-catching flags along Potteries Way, in Hanley, The banners along the ring road feature iconic brands from among the 350 ceramic business based in Stoke-on-Trent. Cabinet member for regeneration, councillor Brian Ward, said: "Potteries Way is an important link road to our city so it is great that the banners will highlight what we have to offer." Feb 2010
