  • Charles Waine and Thomas Bates had previously been in partnership with William John Taylor as Taylor, Waine & Bates.  On the 16th October 1885 Taylor left the partnership which was continued by Waine and Bates. 

  • In 1891 Thomas Bates left the business which was continued by Charles Waine
