  • A little known manufacturer who were listed in the 1860 Kelly and 1861 Harrison directories.

The works were on the corner of Slippery Lane and Slippery Street (renamed Robson Street c.1930). All this area was cleared at the end of 2005 and the building demolished.

the works were most likely extended and refurbished in the late 1880s

by the 1950s part of the works had become the Hanley Iron Foundry 
and by the 1960s the pottery works had become a warehouse
