The Queen Anne pattern was the main design produced by the Ceramic Art Co Ltd (see advert above). It was available as tea, breakfast and dinner sets. The pattern is in the Aesthetic style. Although the pattern was advertised as 'Queen Anne' the pattern name does not appear on the ware - the registration number 39268 is used. This registration number shows that the pattern was originally registered by Wallis, Gimson & Co on the 8th December 1885 (they called the pattern 'Alexandria'). It appears that when Wallis, Gimson & Co became bankrupt in 1890 the pattern was purchased by the Ceramic Art Co.
