Earthenware manufacturers at the Hadderidge Pottery, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England.

  • The partners were John Bourne Heath and Abraham Blackhurst. The business was also listed in records as Heath, Blackhurst & Co (probably this name used in the early 1860's) 

  • John Bourne Heath and Abraham Blackhurst were also junior partners in the business of Wood, Challinor & Co

  • The partnership of Heath, Blackhurst was dissolved in July 1877. Abraham Blackhurst continued at the Hadderidge Pottery as Blackhurst & Tunnicliffe.

Subsequently:  Blackhurst & Tunnicliffe

The Hadderidge Pottery "came into the hands of Heath & Blackhurst in 1859, who were succeeded by Blackhurst & Tunnicliffe, and then in 1880 by Blackhurst & Bourne. The mark is a garter, encircling the initials H & B., B & T., or B & B."
