Potters dated as 1710-15 (operating in this period) are taken from a list of pot works drawn up by Josiah Wedgwood. In 1792 he wrote that he had produced the list by "having examined some of the oldest men in the pottery here, nearly 30 years ago, who knew personally the masters in the pottery..."
