GROCERY and CONFECTIONERY STORES

NEW Grocery and Confectionery Stores will form part of the new premises. Like other grocery shops belonging to the Burslem and District Industrial Co-operative Society, this new shop will set a standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Where food is concerned, these qualities are of the utmost importance.
The shop will be the 58th Grocery Shop owned by the Society.
Adjoining the new grocery store, will be a new confectionery store. A communicating doorway will enable customers to pass from the one shop to the other without going into the street.
The new shops will be available for " family ' orders from members in the vicinity. They will also be useful " handy " shops for members from other districts who desire to make small purchases when in town.
