E. BRAIN & Co. LTD Manufacturer of porcelain at Foley Works, Fenton. Note: Elijah Brain took over the Foley China Works from Robinson & Son in 1885 but continued to use the mark of "Robinson & Son" until 1903 when they used their own mark. Note: the use of the name 'FOLEY' extensively used on many different marks to 1963, with and without the initials 'E. B. & Co,' or the name in full. Note: E Brain & Co took over the business of Coalport China in 1958 and since 1963 production has continued under the Coalport name.
