CITY MINISTER MOURNED

  The church of The Assembly of God, Franklin Road Penkhull, was full to capacity yesterday afternoon for the funeral of the Rev. Charles Henry Harthern.

  Mr. Harthern , a former  local coal merchant and haulage contractor, gave up his business to enter a full-time gospel ministry. With his wife. he was in charge of the Assembly of God Community Church, Penkhull.

  Aged 70, he died on Wednesday at his home, The  Bungalow, Franklin Road, Penkhull. The service was  conducted by Pastor Warwick Shenton, assisted by,  Mr. Albert Dutton.
