Blurton Road runs from the junction with Grove Road / Duke Street and Heron Street (Heron Cross) to the junction with Drubbery Lane and Church Road (Blurton).

Blurton Road follows an ancient track and can be seen as a dotted line on the 1775 William Yates Map of this area.  There is also an 1890 OS map which shows this area.
