In the distance is Hanchurch Woods, centre left is the tower of Christchurch, Fenton and centre middle are the red brick offices and works of the Michelin Tyre Company in Stoke.

In the foreground the trees of Fenton Cemetery, in the mid view to towards the left can be seen the spire of Penkhull Church. 

In the distance the Lyme Valley around Newcastle-under-Lyme, in the centre is Stoke and to the centre right are flats near Honeywall
