Bull's Head, 283 Sneyd Street, Cobridge
- demolished in the late 1970's / early 1980's -

This public house is believed to have been constructed before 1775. It has a rectangular plan with a rear projection. It has two storeys, and is one room wide by two rooms deep with a cellar. The front of the building is south-facing. The ground floor has an entrance door with plain stone lintel and stone step. There are two casement windows which have decorative stone lintels with entablatures and wooden sills.

Sneyd Green was a popular destination for potters from Burslem during the wakes week in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
One of the attractions was the Bulls Head public house in Sneyd Street where, as its name implies, bulls were baited as part of the week's entertainment. This activity was supported by the landlord because it brought numerous customers for food and drink to the public house.
Bull baiting was eventually brought to an end by Act of Parliament in 1835.
