  • The partners of the former company were John Beck, Thomas Wild, Augustine Beck and Henry Beck - trading as Beck, Wild & Co.

  • On the 13th January 1879 Thomas Wild and Augustine Beck left the business. John and Henry Beck continued and were joined by William Robert Blair - the new company traded as Beck, Blair & Co.

  • At sometime Thomas & George Bakewell joined the business.   

  • The partnership was short lived and was dissolved on the 19th November 1879 when John and Henry Beck left the business. 

  • The remaining partners - William Robert Blair, Thomas Bakewell & George Bakewell continued as Blair & Co
