Bryan Street runs off Stafford Street (connected now by Quadrant Road). The famous night club "The Place" is located in Bryan Street.

Bryan Street was cut in half by the building of the Potteries Way ring road and is now Bryan Street and Lower Bryan Street. Hanover and Brewery Streets run from Bryan Street to Hope Street.

Nos 48 & 50 Bryan Street used to be the premises of "Smith and Keen" who were tobacco manufacturers. Producing, amongst others 'Potters Pride' tobacco.
