1856 John King Knight retired and Harry Wileman continued the business on his own account.
In 1860 the works were expanded and the Foley China Works was built alongside the original Foley Potteries.
In 1862 Joseph Ball Shelly joined the business as a travelling salesman.
Henry Wileman died in 1864 and his sons James & Charles took over the business.
