 Earthenware and china manufacturers at The Foley Potteries, Foley, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent

  • 1856 John King Knight retired and Harry Wileman continued the business on his own account. 

  • In 1860 the works were expanded and the Foley China Works was built alongside the original Foley Potteries.

  • In 1862 Joseph Ball Shelly joined the business as a travelling salesman. 

  • Henry Wileman died in 1864 and his sons James & Charles took over the business.  

 

Formerly: Knight & Wileman

Subsequently: J & C Wileman

the same pattern and mark style was used by the
