Earthenware manufacturer at the Gold Street Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England.
  • The names of the Brough brothers who started the business is uncertain. 

  • In July 1870 the partnership was dissolved. At that time the partners were Benjamin Hyde Brough, James Abberley and Thomas Lowe. 

  • Thomas Lowe and James Abberley were also operating together as Lowe & Abberley at the nearby Waterloo Works. The Lowe & Abberley partnership was dissolved on the same day as the Brough Bros partnership. James Abberley continued at the Waterloo Works on his own and Thomas Lowe continued at the Gold Street Works on his own account. 

  • Benjamin Hyde Brough was also in business with other partners at the Waterloo Works.
