• The business was started by a Mr. L. D. Manning around 1940 at works in Gate Street, Longton (renamed Sandgate Street in the mid 1950's).

• Around 1947 manufacturing was moved to nearby Sutherland Road.

• In December 1949 the business was taken over by Ridgways (Bedford Works) Ltd. who were part of the Lawley Group. The business then traded as Adderley Floral & Figurine China Co. Ltd.

 

Subsequently: Adderley Floral & Figurine China Co. Ltd.
