Manufacturer of earthenware and tiles at the Lincoln Pottery, Dalehall, and then also at the Crown Pottery, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England.
  • Samuel Ford had been in business at the Lincoln Pottery with William Thomas Hulme Smith. On the 30th June 1898 Smith retired from the partnership and Samuel Ford continued as Samuel Ford & Co.

  • From around 1912  Samuel Ford & Co. were also working at the Crown Pottery, Burslem. The Lincoln Pottery remained the registered office. 

  • The business must have experience financial difficulties, in 1912 a new company was formed - Samuel Ford & Co. (Burslem) Ltd and the debt of the former Samuel Ford & Co. was assigned.

  • The partners were Samuel Ford, George Edward Ford, Arthur John Ford, Percy Ford. 

  • The business continued to March 1939 when a Winding Up Order was made and the company ceased production.
