  • Brothers George Miles Mason and Charles James Mason continued the business of their father Miles Mason following his retirement in 1813.   

  • In Nov 1830 George retired from the business which was continued by his brother Charles as C J Mason & Co 

  • Charles James Mason was made bankrupt in February 1848.

  • Charles J Mason continued on his own account until 1854.

  • 1852 Francis Morley bought the moulds of C. J. Mason
